Publication: Arsenic Inhibits Proliferation and Induces Autophagy of Tumor Cells in Pleural Effusion of Patients with Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer Expressing EGFR with or without Mutations via PI3K/AKT/mTOR Pathway

In this investigation by Mao et al., the group used a BioFlux Shear Flow System to examine the impact of arsenic trioxide (ATO) treatment on mutated non-small cell lung cancer cells. The group found that ATO inhibited proliferation, and overall kinase activity by diminishing the expression of epidermal growth factor receptor.
