Publication: Biofilm development in L. fermentum under shear flow & sequential GIT digestion

The investigators used a BioFlux 1000z shear flow system to study biofilm formation by Lactobacillus fermentum in physiological conditions. It was found that the probiotic strain, PL29, was capable of adhesion and biofilm formation on mucin under liquid flow.
